With developments in Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV) technology, digital imaging and GPS systems, it is now possible to economically capture high quality footage over very large areas. Armed with this information, analysts are now, for the first time, able to address large scale problems – such as holistic river management, natural disaster / emergency management or, from a defence perspective, battlespace management. Aerial Analyst is designed to aid in doing this.
